The Neston and District Art Society was founded on October 18th 1982 by Horace Perry.

It met at Neston Methodist church, Neston Library and the United Reformed Church then Neston Town Hall. We now meet at St. Michael & All Angels Church at the corner of Marshlands Road and Burton Road, alternate Mondays, September – June 7.30 – 9.30pm

Club nights consist of monthly demonstrations, talks and slide shows by experienced or professional guest artists and these are followed by practical sessions when members can try out new media and techniques.

There is an annual three-day Exhibition each Spring. This is open to non-members as well as members. The following awards are given annually at the exhibition, by a guest judge:

– The Somers Dolphin Trophy is the principal award, presented for work of particular merit.

– The Perry Memorial Awards are presented to encourage amateur artists in five categories.

Further details and an application form to go on the members waiting list can be obtained from the Club Secretary, Keith Moores:email
