Neston’s Friday, Pirate Themed Summer Market – 1st August 8.00am to 2.00pm
Ahoy matey! Neston Town Council is pleased to announce its pirate themed summer market will return for summer 2025, on Friday 1st August. In addition to the wonderful outdoor Friday Market, there will also be lots of FREE pirate themed activities for children.
Avast ye! we will be joined again by The Whitchurch Town Pirate who will create his usual mix of fun and mayhem… with perhaps a sea shanty thrown in for good measure!
Blow me down from 9.00am there will FREE face painting for children, a FREE to enter Treasure Hunt with a small prize from Neston Town Council for every entrant and Ness Gardens will be providing a FREE themed planting activity for children. Certainly, this is an event not to be missed.
There will be a charity book stall, from where Town Councillors will be handing out entry forms and prizes for the Treasure Hunt. Little Actors Theatre Company will have a FREE colouring activity, and there will also be a tombola in aid of Neuroblastoma Awareness.
Whitchurch Town Pirate with last year’s visiting mini-pirates
Arghh, shiver me timbers… Little land lubbers are asked to help look around the market traders for the infamous pirate ‘Captain Crumb’, whose picture will be on the wanted posters. they may even receive a doubloon reward if he is spotted, we’re told his ‘ship’ has orange ‘sails’!
There will be a variety of delicious treats from falafels & samosas to waffle sticks, cakes & sweets. Essentials for a summer barbeque and picnic or grub for ship mates! You could even take a break for a drink, a bite to eat, a cooling ice cream, a coffee or a milkshake, while you soak up the atmosphere. Fancy dress is optional, but why not join in the merriment? You can even get a selfie with Captain Jack Sparrow! Join us on Friday 1st August for what looks set to be a fun packed day all round.
