The Town Hall is a great venue for private events such as weddings, christenings, children’s parties and social evenings for clubs. We can provide facilities as very reasonable prices and can put you in touch with local caterers for hot and cold buffets, afternoon teas and continental breakfasts for your group or event. You can also dress the venue yourself to personalise it to you.
The Main Hall has a sprung floor (suitable for dances) and a stage. It has a maximum capacity 250 and seated capacity of 100. It is suitable for theatrical and music productions, weddings, parties, selling events, sports hire (badminton, zumba, karate, keep fit etc), meetings and other special events.
The Club Room is available evenings and weekends and has a capacity of 20. It would be suitable for meetings or as an anteroom when hiring out the main hall.
The Drill Room (names so as when it was first built Neston Rifle Volunteers used it for this) is in the basement and forms part of Neston’s royal chartered Friday market. It would be suitable for other selling events.
The kitchen is well equipped and can be hired individually or with other rooms.
The Town Hall can be hired from 7am until midnight and has a PRS music licence for performances. The Town Hall offers step free access and disabled toilet facilities and plenty for long stay free parking in town centre car parks.
The Market Square is an outdoor partially enclosed space situated between the town hall and Sainsbury’s. As well as the market it can be used for a variety of events. Events we have hosted include Summer Play Schemes, Lights and Lanterns, Cycle Fairs, Zumbathons, Summer Yoga, Morris Dancers, Book Sales, Plant Fairs, Awareness Raising Campaigns and Charity Events.
Town Hall hourly hire charges rates
A discretionary 20% reduction may be given to unincorporated groups or registered charities where the proposed use demonstrates a clear benefit for the community or the town centre. For hirers making a commitment to using the main hall for more than 15 hours per month a reduction of 10% will be offered. This reduction does not apply to those already benefiting from the charitable or unincorporated group reduction.
In addition to this, hirers wishing to use the hall for community or charitable benefit can apply to the Town Council for a grant to further subsidise the hire cost.
