Neston and District Christian Aid Committee
The local Christian Aid committee is part of Neston and District Churches Together (NDCT), which represents the churches in Burton, Little Neston, Neston, Parkgate and Willaston.
Members of the committee normally organise events throughout the year, these events include:
- A sponsored walk in March.
- A house-to-house collection during Christian Aid Week in May.
- Bag-packing in Sainsbury’s at Christmas and during Christian Aid Week.
- Collection at Gordale Garden Centre at Christmas and during Christian Aid Week.
- An ecumenical service is held in a local church during Christian Aid Week.

All the money raised is sent to Christian Aid Head Office to join the nationally collected funds each year.
Christian Aid’s motto is “We believe in life before death“. The organisation undertakes charitable work in 50 countries through local organisations to deliver direct, practical benefits, and campaign to challenge the causes of poverty.
