Neston Town Council operates two grants programmes (small and main) which support voluntary and community groups operating within the Neston area. There is also a separate grants programme to encourage the provision and maintenance of defibrillators. Details of all three programmes can be found below along with application forms. Please read our Grants Policy (V6) for further details of the eligibility criteria. The Funding Agreement that all grant recipients will be required to sign can be accessed here: Funding Agreement (revised 2019).

Grant applications are considered twice a year in April and October. Please ensure that your application reaches us by the advertised submission deadline as late applications will not be accepted.

GRANTS FOR THE PROVISION/MAINTENANCE OF DEFIBRILLATORS (Maximum £700)

Neston Town Council supports organisations (including businesses) to purchase and maintain defibrillators for community use in the local area. Defibrillators must be located on an external wall that allows 24-hour access and must be registered with The Circuit (the national defibrillator network).

Please note that North West Ambulance Service will replace pads for registered defibrillators if they have been used in an emergency situation. Contact North West Ambulance Service for further details: ndn.alert@nwas.nhs.uk

FURTHER GUIDANCE

It is important that you complete all sections of the application form (do not just answer questions with “see attached”). Additional information can be attached to the application, but this must not be in place of answering the questions on the application form.

Whilst we cannot give guidance on individual applications, we are able to offer advice on the application process and provide generic clarification on the application questions.  If you have any queries, please contact Audrey Duncan on 0151 363 8024.
