Neston Christmas Lights Switch-on

This year’s Christmas in Neston will delight you with the traditional parade and a whole lot more festive frivolities! Come and join us switch on the town’s tree lights and spread the Christmas cheer!

Inside the Town Hall

2 – 6:30pm, browse the wonderful Christmas indoor market where some of the town’s independent crafters will display their wares for you to pick up some beautiful gifts.

4pm – 6pm Visit Santa’s magical Grotto.
Also, a wonderful Christmas line-up of community entertainment on stage:

Lily Hughes, Oakleigh Elizabeth’s Dance School. Hand Bell Ringers, Little Actors Theatre Company, The 64 N’Ukes

Market Square

3:50pm there will be some SPECIAL GUESTS to open proceedings and get the Christmas spirit into full swing.
Swiftly followed by a wonderful Christmas line=up of entertainment:

Elsa & Olaf, Gabriel Roberts, Grace & Isaac, Simple Folk, Medical Negligence, Port Sunlight Lyceum Brass Band, Woodfall Samba Band

4pm – 6pm Take a FREE ride on the fantastic Christmas Traction Train with our very own Elf Bill

4pm – 6:30pm Enjoy an array of FREE sideshow game stalls

4pm – 6:30pm Indulge in a bite to eat or quench your thirst from our local food & drink stalls:

6:15pm Parade assembly
6:30pm Parade sets off to the Cross
6:45pm Town Tree Light Switch On
7pm Finish

Roads closed 5 – 7.30 p.m.: High Street between Bridge Street and Raby Road, Brook Street between car park entrances and The Cross. Parkgate Road between Beechways Drive and the Cross. 5.50 – 6.20 p.m.: Raby Road between Ladies Walk and High Street.
