The Phantom of the Open

The true story of Maurice Flitcroft, a crane operator and optimistic dreamer from Barrow-in-Furness who, with the support of his family and friends, managed to gain entry to the 1976 British Open qualifying, despite never playing a round of golf before.

Doors open at 6.15 pm for the option of a drink or slice of cake before the film starts at 7 pm. Tickets can be bought online at https://www.ncyc.charity/flicks-events or call into the community centre on Burton Road to pay by card or cash. Become a NCYC member online and get 20% off for all films. Neston Angels volunteers come free.

You can grab a cuppa, slice of cake, get a drink from the licensed bar, and have an ice-cream at the interval. All brought to you by friendly volunteers in a warm community atmosphere!
