Wirral Way 50th Anniversary event

Cheshire West and Chester Council and Neston Town Council will be hosting a Wirral Way stakeholder event.

The Wirral Way will celebrate its 50th anniversary in October 2023.  To mark this date and the journey the Wirral Way has been on over the last 50 years, we would like to work with stakeholders to develop a calendar of events to celebrate it.

The Wirral Way has seen the land transformed from a disused railway line to a linear route of outstanding beauty that showcases amazing wildlife and biodiversity, and provides people with the opportunity to walk, cycle, jog, sight-see or just sit and relax.

Attendees will be asked to consider how they might get involved in a summer of activities that will serve residents and attract tourists to the area. Following the Wirral Way discussion there will be a networking opportunity.
